Today was the Manhattan Developmental Disabilities Council (MDDC) 28th annual "Legislative Breakfast" at Barnes & Noble Union Square.

An important action of the meeting was the #bFair2DirectCare Campaign. which encourages legislators to send a letter to Governor Cuomo urging him to include $45 million in his Executive Budget Proposal as a first step towards providing a living wage for low wage workers who support people with developmental disabilities.
